Metro Music Makers partners with the Alpharetta Arts Center to provide three camp opportunities throughout the summer.
These engaging camps include the high-energy Rock Band Camp, where participants can collaborate in a band setting and rock out to their favorite tunes. For those with who prefer an acoustic camp experience, the Summer Uke Fest! Jam Band Camp offers a delightful journey into the world of this charming instrument, complete with fun jamming sessions. These summer camps with Metro Music Makers promise an enriching and enjoyable musical adventure for everyone.
Registration through the Alpharetta Arts Center opens for Alpharetta residents on February 26, 2025 and for non-residents on March 12, 2025.
Summer 2025 camps
Rock Band Camp – May 27 – 30, 2025
Come jam with us this summer! Campers aged 8 to 13 will learn the basics of performing in a rock band, including stage presence and how to work together. Everyone is encouraged to bring their instrument (guitar, bass, uke, etc); drums and keyboards will be provided.
Don’t have an instrument? No worries – instruments will be provided if you do not have one. Campers should bring a bag of lunch. Camp concludes with a Rock Show on Friday afternoon. $12 supply fees payable to the instructor on the first day of class.
Acoustic Jam Fest! – July 7 – 11, 2025
Jam out with us this summer in the FFA Log Cabin! This is the perfect setting for an acoustic version of our rock band camp. We will be rockin’ out on ukes and acoustic guitars.
Campers will learn how to collaborate with fun musical styles and will rehearse songs as a group.
Campers must bring their own ukulele or acoustic guitar, a water bottle, and snacks. Family members will be invited to a performance on the last day of camp.
A ukulele or acoustic guitar is required.
Rock Band Camp All Stars – July 21 – 25, 2025
